Hi friends!
I came from a big reading family. I still remember getting my own library card in second grade and how excited I was not to have to share a library card with my dad.
Books were important to me growing up. I thankfully was never bullied, but I was painfully shy throughout most of grade school and books were a way I connected with all my friends. I remember my best friend and I would always check out the same book at the school library and see who could read it the fastest. Then we would discuss our opinions after.
While I'm not nearly as voracious of a reader as I once was, I still like to consume my fair share of books each year. I mostly read young adult fiction, but all books are read happily here.
I'm not creating this section of my blog to get free books to review (though if I do, that would be icing on the cake) and become some big book blog. Currently, I buy or get my books from the library. Mostly, I'm using this as an extension of my bookstagram to give you more in depth reviews and recommendations based on the books I read.
You know how sometimes you read a book and afterwards you're like I need to tell someone about this and shout about this book from the rooftops? Yeah? Well, that's what this section of my blog is for.
So, if you like bookish things and would like to hear yet another person's opinions about books they read, welcome. You're in the right place.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope to see you around here sometime soon!
Taylor
