I'm Taylor! I posted a similar post on my bookstagram account @the_booktourist on IG for a "Meet the Bookstagrammer" challenge today and people really got into it so I decided to do this post so that people could learn a little behind me as a blogger. Honestly, I stole a few facts from that post, but I definitely shared more about myself here!
My favorite number is 15, which is why I chose to share 15 facts about myself. You could call it my lucky number.
My favorite color is green. My favorite shade of green is mint green. Both my backpack that I lug my writing laptop around in and my phone case are mint green. Though my favorite color to wear is seaweed / moss green. Mint unfortunately doesn't work with my pale skin tone. Probably why all my accessories are mint green!
My favorite animals are elephants.
My favorite tv shows are New Girl and Downton Abbey. I've watched these shows multiple times and could watch them all over again and still enjoy every minute of them.
My favorite music is literally anything Taylor Swift. I've watched her Reputation Stadium Tour on Netflix more than once because I love it so much.
My favorite book genres to read are YA fantasy and YA contemporary, but all books are happily read here.
My favorite books growing up were: Harry Potter, Percy Jackson & the Olympians, anything by Cornelia Funke, and all the Nancy Drew Books. I loved Nancy Drew so much I even went as her for Halloween one year.
When I'm not reading, I'm writing. My current WIP is a YA fantasy. I have won NaNoWriMo two times and am a member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
I majored in English and graduated from Xavier University. Let's go X!
I've lived in five different states (OR, GA, OH, IL & CO). I call Cincinnati, OH home, but I'm currently living in Colorado and loving every minute of it!
I'm a dog mama to a bernedoodle named Winston.

I'm a Hufflepuff and 100% a wallfower (INFJ).
I'm a coffee, tea, and hot cocoa kinda girl. I love them all and if I'm at Starbucks I'll order whatever matches my mood.
During the day I work at one of the most magical places. Let's just say I get to work with artwork and home decor and overall its just the coolest job ever with some of the most awesome coworkers. A lot of people complain about their 9-5 jobs while they are working on their side hustle, but I honestly feel like I've won the lottery with the company I work for.
